Fundraising Coordinator

Katrina Desabrais

Katrina’s involvement with Passion for Paws began with applying for volunteer opportunities that she found through a friend. She was immediately inspired by Olivia and her team, and was determined to get more involved. Now, she is responsible for finding foster families for our dogs and is involved with coordinating our fundraisers.

Katrina is currently completing her master’s degree in physical therapy at McGill University, with hopes of pursuing medicine in the future. Despite her busy schedule, she always finds time to dedicate to the rescue and has even fostered some dogs from the program during her time with PFP.

Katrina grew up an avid equestrian, spending the majority of her evenings and weekends at the barn. Being around animals has always been therapeutic for her, and volunteering with Passion for Paws fills a void that only 4-legged animals can fill. She is very excited for the future of the organization as well as everything she will learn from the rest of the team.
