We are based in Laval, Quebec, and do not have a public physical location. We partner with Centre Pucci, where we host evaluations, surrenders, and meet-and-greets. Our dogs stay in loving foster homes tailored to their individual needs until they find their forever homes. When fosters are away or unavailable, trusted volunteers may take the dogs on playdates to ensure they receive care, enrichment, and social time in a safe setting. Playdates are also a great way for our volunteers to meet our Pack and attract adopters!

Our Rehoming Program is designed to help dogs find their forever home while avoiding a shelter environment. We prioritize the well being of the dog by ensuring our procedures limit stress during the rehoming process.
Visit our rehoming page for more information on the program, procedures, and fees.

First, you'll need to fill out our rehoming application. Once we receive it, we’ll review your answers to determine if your dog is a good candidate for our program. If so, we’ll contact you to schedule a phone call where we’ll ask a few additional questions and explain the next steps.
From there, we’ll book an in-person behavioral evaluation to meet you and your dog.
Please note: Acceptance into the program is only confirmed after this evaluation, based on the behaviors observed during the meeting.
If you choose to move forward after your dog is accepted, we’ll ask you to sign the necessary rehoming documents and complete the required steps. Once that’s done, we’ll schedule a surrender day.
On surrender day, you’ll have the chance to say goodbye to your dog. We ask that you bring a full bag of food and three months’ worth of any medication, if applicable. After your goodbye, the dog will take part in a professional photoshoot for our social mediaand adoption page. Once the shoot is done, they will go directly to their foster home.
We’re happy to provide updates throughout the process if you’d like.
Anyone who’s been part of a dog’s journey is important to us, and we aim to make this process as supportive and smooth as possible.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.

No, we screen the dogs properly before they are accepted into the program. The screening process includes: Candidacy form, phone call, and in person evaluation. The dog’s needs must match our resources in order to ensure success for rehoming.
-
If your dog isn’t accepted into our program, you’ll receive an email letting you know. We understand how difficult rehoming can be, so we’ll also provide a list of other helpful resources and are always happy to answer any questions you may have.
-
Timelines can vary with each dog. After we receive your application, an evaluation is typically done based on availability. If your dog is accepted into our program, placement into foster care usually takes around 2–4 weeks. Once in our care, adoption typically takes between 2–8 weeks, depending on factors like the dog’s medical needs, behavior, and interest from potential adopters. Every dog is different, so timing may vary.

Adoption

Potential adopters must fill out an adoption form, do a phone call interview, virtual house tour, and need proof of references, income, and government ID.
-
No, due to the fact that we work mostly with foster families, we need to ensure you are a good candidate before organizing a meet and greet with the foster family and asking them to alter their schedules.
-
Our organization offers a foster-to-adopt period, which begins after you've been approved through our adoption process. This is a 30 day trial where the dog lives in your home so you can both adjust and see if it’s the right fit.
You’ll receive all the support you need throughout the process. This may include things like an educational guide with tips on reading stress signals, integration, and care requirements. Before the trial begins, we may also ask families to complete a short quiz to help ensure everyone feels ready and confident.
During this time, you’ll have full access to our team, including a vet volunteer, trainer, and a dedicated chat group so you’re never on your own! We prioritize being there for you and are more than ready to help with whatever you may need.
At the end of the 30 days, if it feels like a perfect fit, you can finalize the adoption. If not, we’ll work to find the dog a more suitable home. Everyone who is part of a dog’s journey is important to us, and we will continue to support you throughout.
-
No, our standard process includes a 30-day foster-to-adopt period to ensure a good fit between the dog and the adopter. This helps ensure a successful and permanent adoption.
-
If the fit isn't right during the 30-day period, we'll chose an alternative placement for the dog, usually the second in line candidate that we already interviewed.

Basic supplies, veterinary care, and food are supplied during the foster period. Extra toys and/or treats you decided to gift them personally is at your own expense.
